When you’re interacting with Exclamation Labs, there is a good chance that you are unaware of the talent fueling your project. We work with some pretty spectacular people who are truly experts in their field. Take a few minutes to get to know them, personally and professionally, and see why these folks are the “special sauce” in our recipe for success.
This month we focus on our newest (kinda) full-time employee, Garrett Spence!
Garrett joined our team as an intern in the Spring of 2018. While finishing up his undergraduate education at Frostburg State University, he continued to work with us on a part-time basis before, in-between, and after classes! Garrett also found time to volunteer as a Percussion Tech Assistant for the award-winning Allegany High School Marching Band. Following graduation in December, Garrett officially joined our team as a full-time developer. He works mostly on front end development but says he often finds himself looking into other parts of the stack out of interest.
As our business continues to grow, it’s exciting to see team members grow along with us, and Garrett is a perfect example of that.
Lead Developer, Brandon Powers, had this to say about Garrett:
"Exclamation Labs’ DNA is comprised of the immense talent and skillsets our diverse team brings to the table. During his internship, Garrett not only brought great perspective to our team, but he learned a lot from our other team members, our clients, and the opportunities we have as a company. Our team’s talent is built on highly engaged team members, like Garrett, and we are thankful to now have him as a full-time team member."
Now for the fun part! Get a glimpse of Garrett’s personality, and see why we’re happy to have him on the team.
