Brian Morin

Director of Technology

Mr. Morin is an entrepreneurial technologist. That means he thrives upon creating a new means to reach a corporate end, and turns “blue sky” ideas into technology realities. Brian’s job is to study all current communications technologies, and combine or create new ones where needed.

Brian’s expertise started with mainframe operations for the U.S. Marine Corps. Since his military experience, he has founded two leading Internet Service Providers, one of which was Laser Link Communications, which sold to Covad Communications—now one of the world’s top broadband providers.

Brian’s core knowledge is in systems administration and engineering, and he has successfully led teams of developers in building carrier class email messaging infrastructures, deploying high-volume web applications utilizing open-standard software.

As Director of Technology since joining the company in 2001, Brian guides the critical thinking on the Forest™ Destination Marketing System—a tourism management application developed and owned by Exclamation Labs.
